VOLUNTEER FAQs
1. How do I apply for the SAIS’24 Volunteer Programme?
You can apply by clicking on the Volunteer Programme Application Form link provided in the call.
2. What roles and responsibilities will volunteers have?
Volunteers may be involved in various roles such as event coordination, social media management, assisting speakers, photography, managing stage coordination, support exhibitors, managing attendee inquiries, and supporting networking sessions during the Summit.
3. Is prior experience required to volunteer?
No prior experience is required. All necessary training will be provided during the face-to-face and online training sessions.
4. How will the training sessions be conducted?
The face-to-face training session will take place on 30 August at UWC campus (building to be confirmed), and the online training session will be conducted on 9 September 2024. Details about the location and online platform will be shared with selected volunteers.
5. What kind of meals will be provided during the Summit?
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all volunteers on both days of the Summit.
6. Will snacks and beverages be available throughout the day?
Yes, snacks and beverages will be available throughout the day to ensure volunteers stay energized and hydrated during their shifts.
7. What if I have special dietary requirements or accessibility needs?
