TECHTRIBE COMMUNITY PITCH NIGHT
The first TechTribe Community Pitch NIght saw members within the community practice their pitches to a panel of mentors. These founders received extensive feedback on their business and pitch while 3 brave founders from the audience tried their luck at a 60 second pitch.
PREPARING THE PERFECT PITCH WORKSHOP
Pitching is an essential skill for any entrepreneur and this workshop aimed to equip entrepreneurs with the necessary tools to present a strong business case to potential investors. Hosted by leading entrepreneurial supporters from the region, they explored the different types of pitching and shared practical tips to present the perfect pitch.
SPACE-TECH INNOVATION CHALLENGE
The Space-Tech Challenge aimed to identify downstream space-tech innovations in agriculture, insurance, retail, sustainability and conservation. 15 start-ups were selected to pitch to a panel of judges and industry experts.
LET'S BECOME INVESTMENT READY
Leading advocates for angel investing in Africa hosted a webinar in the TechTribe Community to help define what being investment ready means for start-ups. They provided tips on how best to prepare themselves and their business for funding and how to identify the right kind of funding for their business.
FOUNDER DRIVEN SERIES
As Covid-19 became a pivotal force many, the SA Innovations Summit supported its community by calling on founders to share their knowledge and real life experiences, especially during this time. These founders shared practical tips on how entrepreneurs can adapt, create, change survive and succeed beyond this challenging period.
