The critical role of incubators in knowledge regions and achieving sustainability through partnerships.
The role of universities across the globe is changing. This role has transformed over the last several decades from being primarily about teaching and producing graduates to that of a key player in what have become known as knowledge regions. While working with more than 300 entrepreneurs across more than 100 businesses, we have found that the two most critical needs that they have are access to market and access to funding. These knowledge regions create the perfect environment for entrepreneurs to easily gain access to both, and multinational corporations, who are experiencing disruption in their industries, can look to embrace this disruption and diversify their businesses through partnerships, investments and acquisitions.
