Having worked as a mathematics teacher during his gap year in the UK, Paul returned to Cape Town in 2004 to undertake his tertiary studies, during which time he decided to devote himself to the field of education in South Africa. Paul began his high school teaching career in 2009 at his alma mater, Westerford High School. After 5 years of teaching at Westerford, Paul decided to make a move to the Centre Of Science And Technology (COSAT) where he taught for a single year (2014). During this time, Paul was approached by an old acquaintance, Chris Mills, with an idea that developed into the Paper Video resources. Paul decided to join Chris in a full-time capacity from the beginning of 2015 with a view to growing Paper Video to achieve their shared vision of making it possible for every learner in South Africa to gain instant and easy access to excellent teachers.
